Delimitation

Delimitation of Hackney Carriage numbers, often referred by some as deregulation, has occurred increasingly since the Office of Fair Trading report of November 2003.

The Report is listed, amongst the many annexes below.

The report was severely criticised by the Transport Select Committee at the begining of 2004. The NTA, as stakeholders, represented the Hackney Carriage trade (amongst others), as a witness at the Select Committee.
